Riverside Means Business

Riverside is an ideal location to establish and run a business. A growing infrastructure, a diverse community and a commitment to business and economic development are just some of many reasons why businesses are growing. Riverside has established itself as a center for wholesale, services and manufacturing firms of all sizes.

Every day public transit service gives thousands of people in the metro area independence, choice and travel options. It can help ease growing
commute costs and traffic congestion, and provides greater access to jobs.

 Riverside is part of an effort to create a transit proposal for service that would better connect communities in Clay, Platte, and Jackson counties.  The proposal will build on Smart Moves, the region’s transit vision developed by transit agencies, citizen and government input, and the Mid-America Regional Council.
