Riverside Municipal Court Overview
The Municipal Court of the City of Riverside is a subdivision of the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri, and acts as the Court of original jurisdiction in all cases involving violations against the ordinance of the City, as set forth in the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, Chapter 479.

Violations Bureau Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Payment may be made by cash, money order or credit card.

- 71 Hwy: Take 71 Hwy N to I-29N and take the Vivion Road exit. Turn left onto NW Vivion Road and end at 2950 NW Vivion Rd.
- I-29 Hwy S: Take I-29 S to the Rivreside exit (NW Gateway). Turn right onto NW Vivion Road and end at 2950 NW Vivion Rd.
- I-29 Hwy N: Follow the 71 Hwy Directions.

Court is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month in the Municpial Court Room. See the Court Calendar for exceptions.
Traffic Citations, Continuances and Warrants
The traffic docket is called promptly at 6 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. There is a mandatory appearance for all citations involving an accident, driving while suspended or revoked, failure to provide insurance, speeding in excess of 26 mph over the limit and DUIs. You must appear on the date listed on your summons. If you are charged with no insurance/failure to provide proof or no valid license and you have the required documentation, be prepared to submit that in court.
If you are unable to attend your court date, you must call the Court Office and you may be granted a one-time continuance by phone. Requests left on voicemail will not be granted.
Failure to appear on your court date or pay a fine as ordered may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and your drivers license being held/suspended by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
